Dr. Garrett Sutton is a board-certified anesthesiologist who completed his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and a fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesia at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His professional interests include Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) in cardiac surgery and the application of evidence-based medicine to improve patient outcomes.
Outside of work, Dr. Sutton enjoys golf, weight training, cheering on the Thunder and OU football, and spending time with friends and family. He and his wife, Hayle, are both Oklahoma City natives and share their home with two miniature dachshunds, Bogey and Winnie. A lifelong learner and adventurer, Dr. Sutton earned his private pilot’s license for helicopters at the age of 18.
